Nick Woltemade is one of those people we’re always happy to see walk through the door.
He’s become a regular at STUDIO Ü – coming in whenever he’s in London, usually leaving with something for himself and often something for a friend too. He takes his time, goes through the rails properly and somehow always finds the best pieces.

Nick has great taste, but more than that, he knows what he likes.
He’s drawn to the pieces that are a little harder to find anywhere else – unusual silhouettes, interesting pops of colour, pieces made once and never repeated. He asks questions, wants to know how things were made and genuinely enjoys discovering something he hasn’t seen before.
On his latest visit, it was all about the pants. He tried on a lot, liked a lot and left with multiple one-of-one pairs to take into the new season with Newcastle United, fresh from representing Germany at the World Cup.
The best thing about Nick, though, has very little to do with clothes.

For someone playing at the highest level, Nick is remarkably grounded. He comes through with friends, has a laugh, talks to everyone and carries himself with the same humility every time we see him. No big entourage, no performance, no ego.
That’s probably why the clothes suit him.
STUDIO Ü has always been for people who are comfortable doing things their own way. People with their own taste, their own interests and their own idea of what looks good.
Nick is exactly that.
A great footballer. A great customer. An even better guy.
One of one, on and off the pitch.
