STUDIO Ü is an independent design studio located at in the heart of Soho, London, where we transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Our designs are rooted in sustainability and craftsmanship, taking preloved and vintage materials and redesigning them into bold, one-of-a-kind garments that challenge the norms of fashion.
Each piece is meticulously deconstructed and reconstructed in our Soho workshop, reflecting our deep commitment to high-quality, artisanal techniques.
Sustainability is our core value. We reject seasonal collections, focusing instead on timeless pieces that endure.
From sourcing vintage designer wear and deadstock fabrics to creating new, one-of-a-kind creations, sustainability guides every step of our design process. We aim to make a positive impact on the environment while providing high-quality, ethically made fashion choices.
Founded by two friends during the 2021 lockdown in London, STUDIO Ü began with experimental sessions in a Soho workshop, transforming coveted designer and vintage pieces into new designs. Justin, an avid vintage clothing collector, and Unai, an experienced pattern cutter and designer, approach each unique piece with a bespoke solution.
STUDIO Ü is for the conscious consumer, where style meets responsibility. We not only create but invite our customers to participate in the process through our exclusive membership program, offering a personal connection to our designs. This collaboration allows clients to submit their own clothing for redesign, working alongside our team to transform their items into bespoke STUDIO Ü pieces.
Our flagship showroom and retail store, located at 39 Berwick Street in London's vibrant Soho district, welcomes clients of all genders, sizes, races, and ages. Our diverse clientele shares a thirst for unique design, individuality, and meaning - all of which are embodied in our creations.
